Savory Ramen @ RakiRaki in San Diego

Miso Ramen with Blistered Pork Belly
As a family, we try our best to spend weekends together finding interesting places to visit or a new place to have a fabulous meal. Well, as fabulous as Savvy Babe would allow us to eat in peace! Instead of scouring San Diego for a new place, we chose to dine at our local favorite, Rakiraki. Being a little under the weather, I really just wanted comfort food. What is more comforting than a big bowl of noodles!

First of all, I want to say parking is rather challenging during busy mealtimes. However the food is worth the trouble of finding a parking space. The restaurant is almost always busy no matter the time. The atmosphere is humming with activities and is rather fun. It's great for a date or a family!

Sweet Potato Fries, Babe got to them first

There are other choices if noodle is not a your cup of tea. There are rice dishes and sushi as well. For us, we never leave the place without ordering fried sweet potatos. It's so yummy dusted with powder sugar. Babe eats them up!
Another favorite is the fried chicken. Babe is particularly picky with meat but he will eat these chicken karaage. Until I had Japanese fried chicken, I didn't know mayo could be so right with fried chicken. This dish is ordered by almost all the patrons eating there!
Casual Outfit: Seven Jean, Emporio Armani Vest and Chanel Flap

For our casual day out, I threw on a white shirt with vest over jeans. A little Chanel bag worn cross body completed the outfit.  This was my casual little weekend, how was yours?
