A friend stayed there a couple of years ago and she couldn't stop raving about the majestic beauty of the surrounding. Wouldn't this place just make a gal feel exactly like a modern day princess.

Of course, while there, Lake Morraine in Banff is also a must visit. The lake is turquoise in color as result of continuous deposit of rock flour, finely ground rock particles produced by glacial abrasion. Looking at these beautiful images, I can't help but wonder at the power of nature at work.
Of course, last but not least, I mostly love to visit the Athabasca Glacier. I love to be able to travel on these ice buses to visit remnant of the last ice age. Oh the wonder!!! AND, how am I going to keep warm??

I am just in awe of the image above, to think this was here thousands of years before us. It is up to us to help preserve this for our future generations to enjoy. Just thinking about seeing these wonders excites me to no end. Now, I just need to figure out ways to keep warm. From my school days in cold weather, I rely on goose down coats to ward off the chill. If I can actually make this trip happen and visit Athabasca Glacier, I would love me a Canada Goose coat like the one below. It is important for a gal to be stylish, even if she is hiking through ice age glacier.
What about you, what is your dream place to visit?
