Pasta with Cream, Sausage & Sweet Peas

Recently I have become slightly obsessed with cream, and frozen peas. I didn't know frozen peas can be this tasty with prosciutto, bacon, or sausage. This pasta dish is so comforting and easy to make at the end of  a long day. From cooking pasta, cutting up all the ingredients and stirring everything together, cooking time will take no more than 15 minutes.

Ingredients:
-2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
-sausage, sliced into bite size pieces (can be replaced with bacon or prosciutto)
-frozen peas
-heavy cream
-salt and pepper to taste

How to:
-use about 1 tablespoon of olive oil to saute sausage slices until slightly brown
-add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds
-add frozen peas and cook for another 1-2 minutes
-add heavy cream and turn heat down to medium-low and cook for about 2-3 minutes
-add salt and pepper to taste
-add cooked pasta (can use any type of pasta of choice)
-stir together to coat pasta with sauce

What is your current favorite pasta dish??

  2. Mmmm...this looks (and sounds!) heavenly! My favorite pasta dish at the moment is actually Rigatoni with peas - so beautiful and scrummy for summer! :)

  5. I use similar method but I add mushrooms instead. Porcini or wild mushrooms are fab if you can find them. Can't go wrong with simple cream :)
