Beige Layering Continue & Update on IPL Treatment

Maybe I can smell spring around the corner or SoCal just has unusually fair winter, recently I am really loving the casual beige look. I purchased this Burberry dress a few years back and rarely wore it so I decided to actively reduce cost per wear of this dress. I love dresses because it is so effortlessly. A gal can just throw a dress on and she is complete. There is no need to think about matching an outfit together. ~Smile....

Update on IPL (done Jan 2012): I had my 3rd treatment and this time I was rather disappointed because some spots appeared darker than before my 2nd treatment.  My doctor even noticed it. We don't know the reason why the first two treatments were effective and the 3rd less so. Overall, lighter spots have gone away already but the darker spots on my cheek still plague me to no end. Anyhoo, I am back to bleaching cream for another couple of months and will try 4th treatment. Has this happened to anyone?

  3. Getting dark spots is sometimes a good thing. When spots gets darker with lightening treatments it means the pigment is being drawn up through the layers of skin, which give it a darker appearance, before finally fading away. So you may be closer than you think! :) did you take any before/during pictures? I've always wanted to do IPL.

  6. Whoa, this layering is pretty genius. I never would have thought that was a dress because it looks like it was meant to have sleeves underneath!

  9. I love the way you layered these, the white and cream looks so dreamy! I have very similar skin to you, usually for me it helps, but I've had a few stubborn spots that won't go away. You are much more diligent than me--what cream do you use?

    1. I started with prescription bleaching cream 2 months before first IPL. I have stopped that now because the cream oxidize rather quickly. It cost $85 too. My doc recommend I use SkinCeuticals Pigment Regulator. I am on that now until my next IPL treatment.
