Bruxlie Waffle Sandwich

Normally waffle for me means waffle with fresh fruits such as strawberries slices, assorted berries and freshly whipped cream. Over the weekend, gal pal took me to Bruxlie located in Orange, CA which offered delicious waffle as a sandwich. Who knew right?! The place itself is situated on the corner and there isn't that many tables with seats. Most people eat while standing around small umbrella shaded tables. There is a long line of customers waiting to place their own orders. Once we ordered and paid, we were lucky to find a seated table. After a few minutes we got our orders and I chomped down on my hash and egg waffle sandwich. This place makes light, crispy waffle which is not too thick. I definitely see the merit of a waffle sandwich because there is no mess, just like a regular sandwich. Perfect!!!
Of course, how can I walk away from lunch without sweet. We ended up sharing a strawberry custard waffle sandwich. Yum!! This is not too hard to make and it is quite fun as brunch at home. Have you tried anything like this before?

  1. yum, I love light waffles and desserts, some places are very good at making them and not make your tummy feel bloated after!
