Window Shopping: Just Like Candy....

A gal pal forward this eye candy to me via British Vogue......Perhaps it is all too rich for our bank accounts but we can window shop, right?!
SOTHEBY’S is set to break records next month when it auctions off one of the world’s rarest diamonds – a 25-carat, cushion-cut pink diamond, valued at £24 million.
Of all the color gemstones and diamonds, pink must be one of my favorite colors. There is something so sweet about a pink bling. It must invoke childhood memory of sweet princess dream. Yes, that must be it..... What is your favorite color in gem stones and diamonds?

Update: It was sold for 46 million USD. This or retirement in luxury for life.... hm....

  2. Just like candy is right. This is a magnificent diamond and most likely will be bought by a Chinese billionaire.
