Bling Bing Earrings

From the longest time, I have been considering buying myself a pair of diamond stud earrings. However, the problem is I can only afford pave diamonds. SO, when savvy folks at LuShae offered me a pair sterling silver CZ stud earrings, I jumped at the chance. Gal pal was quite peeved when I showed her these earrings because she just ordered a pair of princess cut diamond stud earrings and told me they looked identical. Granted, her diamonds are more brilliant than this pair of CZ but her diamond are also about 150X more expensive. Gal pal said she is so going to buy this pair for herself as an everyday piece. ~Smile.

Now, I have a new obsession and will blame this on gal pal. She wanted to buy diamond bands to stack together and asked me to shop with her. Of course, this puts a BIG bee in my bonnet. Well, I can't buy all these diamond band to stack together for fun but these promise rings from LuShae seem like a very savvy alternative. What kind of jewelry are you coveting this holiday season?

  1. I have been thinking about a diamond pendant necklace- they always look so chic when I see someone wearing one. Like your earrings!

  3. Another great alternative to CZ is white topaz. A lot of jewelery stores have it and i think its looks really pretty.

  5. I wear cubic zirconia/sterling silver stud earrings a lot because I like the look of white sparkly stones but can't justify spending so much money on the real thing.

  6. When people want really inexpensive fine jewelry I often refer them to Walmart. The quality is acceptable and at least you'll have real diamonds set in gold.

  9. So gorgeous. You're a lucky girl. Sigh. ;) Last year, I was longing for a pair of diamond studs and my mom actually bought me a pair for Christmas! It was so sweet. This year, since funds are very tight, I'm keeping my jewelry wishes to myself. ;) But if I won the lottery, I think I would go for sapphire this time...hehe.

    Happy Thanksgiving! xo

  10. I've wanted 1 crt. diamond stud earrings forever! There are some serious deals out there and really the quality of the diamond doesn't have to be as "good" as it is with an engagement ring. At least that's what my jeweler has told me...

  15. i luv those rings! i have a similar pair of earrings from JCPenney (they were a few gift from a bridal fair!). they've held up quite well over the yrs and i've received many compliments. i also have many sterling silver rings with various stones, and i'm happy with all of them. they look beautiful but yet if something happens to them it's ok bcuz the price was so very nice. as a teacher i need "everyday" pieces of jewelry. i'm afraid to wear the good stuff to work. ;)
