Male vs Femal Coffee Bean & New Stila Lip Gloss
I didn't know that!
According to local vendors in Bali, smaller coffee beans are female while larger peaberry coffees are male. Well, that explanation sounds sorta reasonable! In the animal kingdom, male animal is typical larger than female so that would make sense. Anyhoo, I found out via Wiki, it is not true at all. As for the flavor, I am guessing shape of the coffee bean may affect flavor as these beans may roast differently from normal coffee beans. So have you ever tried peaberry coffee before?
*Peaberry, also known as caracoli, is a type of coffee bean. Normally the fruit of the coffee plant develops as two halves of a bean within a single cherry, but sometimes only one of the two seeds gets fertilized so there is nothing to flatten it. This oval (or pea-shaped) bean is known as Peaberry. Typically around 5% of all coffee beans harvested are of this form. (info via Wiki)
