After seasons of unstructured bags and totes, I am glad to see some structure in the bag world. Instead of the casual easy fashion, there is a movement toward lady-like, back of the basic trend. I adore this structured bag trend because I am tired of all the casual bags in my closet. Besides, a structured bag can mix and match with both dressy and casual outfits, which is very versatile and savvy!

I have a couple structured vintage bags, my favorite is a baby blue one, but the strap is broken. :/

ReplyDeleteooooh i like the nancy gonzalez clutch. i'm not a big fan of structured bags. this may sound silly but they make me feel older than i am. i know, silly.
ReplyDeletep.s. yes, the photo on my site is a photo of me taking a photo (shot by my brother).
i think the chanel bag is far the best one and will prob always be the best one. so classic. so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have a few Chanel already but am not totally heart broken if I can't buy another one. But, I would love to have a Hermes Kelly.
ReplyDeleteOooh such pretty bags!
ReplyDeletesuch pretty bags. i don't think i would spend 4k on a chanel bag though. 4k... man.. that's like my bedroom and living room furnitures all added up together!
ReplyDeleteI really love #6. Love the color.
ReplyDeleteI love structure in my bags, but not so much so that they have a rigidness about them. :)
ReplyDeleteI actually love structured bags. The key is making sure that it looks classy not dated. I've seen quite a few structured bags that scream 80 year old cat lady instead of classy.
ReplyDeleteWhenever i carry i structured bag i always seem to stand a little taller and feel sophisticated.
I love them all... *blush*
ReplyDeleteLove!! My favorites are definitely the Hermes and the Chanel. :)
ReplyDeleteSo chic! Loving the Nancy G's and of course, Chanel! :)
ReplyDeleteI was actually thinking about them the other day! They look so chic and polished! I love the Chanel one!...xxoxooxxooxxoo
ReplyDeleteI still have structured bags from past years, so this trend doesn't excite me much.
ReplyDeleteyep, love the Lady Dior one!
ReplyDeleteI love them. Now I really want one!
ReplyDeleteThe Prada bag is cute!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Chanel did another price hike! =\ That being said, I do adore the Chanel Jumbo Classic Flap too. Love structured bags =D
ReplyDeleteI like the Hermes Kelly one best. It depends on the purpose of the outing. If to a nice dinner, then a structured bag is my preferred choice but for my everyday use, I love my MJ messenger bag.
ReplyDeleteI tried the Prada bag at Neiman, and it was cute and very classic. I can see myself using that for many years.
ReplyDeleteLove structured bags! My latest buy was a vintage Saks Fifth Avenue bag dating from the 1950s, but I'll be getting good use out of my Chanel classic flap jumbo too. (Whew, seeing that price increase makes me glad I bought it two years ago!)
ReplyDeleteI love them too. I am glad for the return of the structured bags. And the colors are fabulous.
ReplyDelete:D
@Lisa: I am with you. I used to think $1400 for a classic Chanel was expensive. Now, I don't think I will be buying one anything soon!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm SO upset about the price increase in the Jumbo Flap. Not that I was close to owning one, but now I'm much further away!
ReplyDeleteThe Chanel is my dream bag too! in the meantime since structured bags are in, time to dust my lower cost leather bag. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love structured bags!
ReplyDeleteI love vintage structured bags - although more for for visual than utility purposes...they are perfect for a fabulous night out!
