The other day I saw gal pal's beautiful pedicure. It was this beautiful red gradient with sparkle design which attracted me immediately. Gal pal told me how it was done. I ran out the same day to buy all the necessary colors.
-First apply light pink or beige as base color.
-Add red on the tip.
-While red tip is still wet, apply sparkle polish over the border between red and light pink colors in a side sweep motion. This will create a soft gradient look.
-Try to avoid the top portion so red remains bright.
-Allow polish to dry and apply more sparkle polish over the entire area.
It is fairly simple. I am looking forward to trying this technique with other color combination. Have fun! Do you have a nail art trick to share?
Ooh I love this! Thanks for sharing, I can't wait to try it on my daughter and myself. Not really a tip but two of the best things I buy for my nails is Avon's Liquid freeze quick dry spray and the nail enamel corrector pen. Cheap and work great!
ReplyDeleteuuu sparkly, love it!
ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous! If I didn't have a vile toenail fungus that needs to be covered with opaque polish, I'd do it for sure.
ReplyDeletecute cute cute!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this! Sparkles are so fun especially during the summer. I might try it in a nice blue or maybe even a coral. Coral has to be my fav. summer colour and I've ben meaning o go grab a bottle of coral polish. This may just be my motivation to do it!
ReplyDeleteInteresting and failry easy indeed!
ReplyDeleteI really like this. I tried to get a pedicure yesterday, but all of them were closed for the holiday!
ReplyDeleteNow that's pretty authentic. I think I'm too old for it, but I love the idea.
