Finding interesting new ways to use a silk scarf besides the tradition function is almost like a hobby for me. Earlier this week, I used scarf as a head accessory here. The same day, a friend showed me a way to change the exact silk scarf into a beret like hat. I had so much fun playing dress up. I am not sure about this look but it is different. Maybe with a different scarf, I will like the look better.
I didn't have a chance to take pictures while transforming the scarf into a beret but I will in the next couple of days. I really believe a gal doesn't need a large wardrobe to have lots of styles. It is about being creative with what we have already at home. I may not be savvy with all the ideas, but it is about having fun in the process.
Oooh lovely! I always need more ideas for how to style my scarf.
ReplyDeletep.s. Hope your friend's ok but she did the right thing!
So true, it's all about being creative, a large wardrobe isn't necessary. Despite this I keep on buying clothes...
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing a tutorial of how you tied it like this.

ReplyDeleteI love this look. It's actually very popular in my culture! Women use it to cover their hair but in a sleek and modern way, I love the way it looks on you!

ReplyDeleteLove the scarf :)
ReplyDeleteI think that looks great. Hope you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteYou're right--it's about being creative and having fun with it. I'm trying hard now not to go bananas and fill my closet with cheap-and-cheerful stuff that'll be worn once. A smaller wardrobe of things you can adapt to suit your mood is, I think, something you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of than a closet that explodes out at you every time you open it!
ReplyDeleteThe scarf looks great!
