Getting Longer Lashes, One month Later.....

Top image is before....

After applying Smart Lash (read original post here) religiously twice daily for the last 30 days, I am finally posting before and after.  According to product instruction, I should see longer lashes in about 30 days.  Before I started, I was expecting longer and fuller lashes. I think my lashes are longer but not fuller, on top and bottom.
 Bottom image is after...

To be honest, I don't know if I will buy replenishment of Smart Lash. Although my lashes did become slightly longer, I don't think it is worth while to apply special growth formula daily. I will still apply this for another 2-3 weeks because lashes have a life cycle so I will give them time to grow out more to finally decide of Smart Lash has the wow factor. Do you think my lashes are longer now?

  1. A little...but I'd be nervous about putting any "growth" chemicals near my eyes. For the little bit that it did grow, you're better off with buying some really good mascara :o/

  2. They seem a little longer but I agree, good mascara might be more worth it!

  3. I do think they look a bit longer. But I can see why you don't think it's really worth it to continue to use it. I'm too afraid to put anything like that on my eyes!

  4. They do look longer, but I can't really see a fullness difference.

  5. I don't really see fullness as well.

  6. They look a bit longer. I use the buxom lashliner and my eyelashes got a bit longer and looks a bit fuller too. I don't use it everyday just when i feel like it and it makes a difference. =]

  8. Thank you for the post - I was thinking of getting "Smart Lash" recently, but spending $125 on 0.16oz...kind of holding me up:(

  12. @Kathy: I am terrible with faux lashes. It takes me half an hour to put them on and still look off. : ) I think I will finish this tube and do what Kristin said, go to good old mascara.....

  13. Hmm I can see it, but it's not that noticeable sadly. Have you ever thought of lash extensions? I've been hearing rave reviews of them.

  21. I just purchased my first tube of SmartLash through Dermstore.com for $29.95 and several free items came with it.

I've been using Latisse for 4 months and it DOES work. More expensive by far but works well.

I am using SmartLash. I also got it for 29.95
I have never had long lashes short stubby ones.
My lashes are growing. Ive used it for 3 weeks now. I had a couple spots that were bare. I have lashes beginning to grow. Even the small change is a good one. Even if they stay the way the current change is I will keep appling and using the product. If it were more that 29.95 I might think about it.

  23. Sure, it looks like you had some increase in length but why is the first picture taken in the dark and the second with bright light? Seems sorta shady to me. Before and afters should be taken under as close to exactly the same way as possible. Lighting is one variable you could control. Taking the first one in the dark casts some doubt on your experience and outcome.

  24. @Anonymous: Thank you for your insight about both pictures should have the same light. I didn't even consider that as I thought anyone reading my experience can reasonably see the difference already. I was not trying to be shady or mislead anyone in anyway as I am not endorsing the product. Rather this post is just to share my experience.

  25. Lash extensions actually will cause the lash to fall out or break. Not a good alternative. The treatment of the eyelid is not a wonderful idea to me. It would be just my luck that they would find a problem with the solution to cause eye problems. The possibility of the solution getting contaminated with bacteria and causing eye infections and possible blindness are also of a concern. Use mascara--however, get a new tube and throw the old one out every three months. The mascara tube can get contaminated with bacteria as well. If you know you have an eye infection, throw away your mascara tube and don't use a new tube until your eye infection has completely cleared up.

  26. I gave up on these lash products. It is easier for me to put on mascara. Like you, I am fearful of turning my eyelid brown, which has been known to happen.

  27. I see a difference, but oh yah... as someone pointed out... eyelashes have a life cycle eventually fall out, so this is also a temporary fix. I have to really ask myself a couple of questions: will I really put this on 2x a day? Will it really change my look? How much do eyelashes change a person's look? I can't wear mascara, I rub my eyes and smear it.

    1. To be honest, I was really good in the beginning but did forget to apply twice daily eventually. Now I just use faux lashes whenever I want more volume. It is easier. : )
