Gettin New Skin with Alpha Hydroxy Cream

Between me and gal pals, we are on a constant lookout for the next beauty product that will give us smaller pores and less lines on the face. For a while, I have considered alpha hydroxy acid to remove lines, achieve smaller pores and even rid myself of hyper pigmentation on the cheek (thanks to genetic disposition). Although I understand there is only so much a topical cream will do for me, I am still rather hopeful that I can achieve better skin and lessen my hyper pigmentation issue without zap-zap (aka laser treatment). According to plastic surgeon pal, this ain't going to resolve all my problems but it should help with some of the issues.

Anyhoo, I got a bottle of alpha hydroxy fluid from Derma the other day and tried for the first time last night. I like the fact that everything is organic and there is no animal testing. There was a slight sensation after initial application but went away after about one minute. Considering I have super sensitive skin, this is a great sign. The direction is to apply a generous layer on the face and necklace and to leave overnight.  When I had the fluid on my skin, I could feel a layer on top of the skin, but it was not uncomfortable. It just felt like I applied super thick layer of moisture on my face but it didn't get absorbed.  I left it on for about 3 hours last night as trial run but next week, I would definitely leave it on overnight. I am hopeful for less hyper pigmentation coloring (don't expect it to go away), smaller pores and diminishing fine lines. Has anyone used alpha hydroxy with success?

PS. This fluid is about 2oz for almost $14. I have seen it online for even less.  I think it is not too pricey and worth a try.
