Bouchon Oatmeal Cookies

I have a passion for cooking but baking is really not my forte because it is just so precise. I have a tendency to be creative which does nothing for the end product.  Recently I found Bouchon cookies at William Sonoma. Everything is pre-measured so I can't make any mistake. I just have to whip butter into a fluffy state and mix in an egg along with all the ingredients. According to the nice sales associate at William Sonoma, what is better than having Thomas Keller as personal sou chef when making oatmeal raisin cookies. Haha.... I love that idea. I tried all the cookie mixes (double chocolate, chocolate chip, shortbread, and oatmeal); my favorite is oatmeal cookies for its lovely texture. It is so savvy to take 2 cookies with tea on a lazy afternoon.

Although, I can't literally bake cookies for all my friends here, this plate is for you all!!!! Have a great day! So what is your favorite cookie?

  1. I'm not a backer either, but I'm sure I would still mess up the fluffing the butter part too!

  5. I'm the only one in my family that eats oatmeal raisin cookies. My kids (except for the youngest daughter) and husband love chocolate chips and they don't ever touch oatmeal raisin. My youngest daughter would eat it and she always manages to spit out the raisins because she doesn't like raisins.
