For Mother's Day, Savvy Sis sent our lovely mom macarons from William Sonoma by pastry chef Jean-Yves Charonand. These little treats could definitely rival my love of Laduree macarons from Paris. I knew about these macarons from awhile but thought after a few days, texture would become dry, like others I purchased before from different stores. However, I will be the first to admit it when I am wrong! The inside is chewy and moist while outside is crisp and light. I wish everyone can taste it now.
These delicate cookies arrived frozen, packed in dry ice. To be honest, at $49 for 24 macarons, the price is not cheap because each pastry is only about 1.5 inch wide. But, I can say they are worth the indulgence once in a while. I will pay for sure because I can't make them like this. Have you tried this before or can you recommend other yummy macarons?
