My family and friends started Operation Let's Help SG Gain 5 Pounds the very next day of my arrival. Normally I will not order fried pork willingly back at home but whenever I am in Taipei, Saboten is a must visit place for me.
I ordered a set menu which was accompanied by salad, soup and a couple side dishes.
I wish everyone can taste the yummy fried pork, veggie and shrimp. The texture is really light and flaky, not oily and heavy at all. I think I just gained a couple ounces looking at these pictures.
Of course having some green tea ice cream to finish the lunch is must to balance out my savory meal.
My mouth is watering! One day there and I would have gained that five pounds!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy...
That all looks very delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love anything pork shrimp and greet tea. I enjoyed this yummy food post :)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely it all looks -- I would not be able to resist. My son lived in Taipei for about 5 years -- I will have to ask him if he went to Saboten.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is like the French women -- Taipei women are not fat.
