Spring is definitely in the air. Although I adore all the vibrant flowers now, I am slightly shy wearing super bright colors. I do love to buy colorful pieces but I rarely wear them.
The other night at the Elle & Armani Fashion Event, Elle style director Kate Lanphear paired a bright fuchsia pink dress with bright turquoise clutch. I usually will pair a bright piece with neutral color shoes and bag. The whole outfit just works beautifully in a bold stylish fashion. The model had a pair of heel on with fuchsia and turquoise colors.
I am so going to wear this bright yellow with turquoise this summer. I know I must have pieces of fuchsia somewhere in the closet too.
Back in the days, I would totally pair bright color accessories with white or neutral color clothing. Now, I can think outside of the box. Have you paired bright colors together before, and what is your favorite color combo?
turquoise and red or turquoise and green
ReplyDeleteboth look good with my long dark hair,
