Updates: Kiehl's Acai Lotion & Cyclone Beauty Belt & SK II Facial Treatment Essence

Last month I met up with a gal pal and commented on her fine complexion. She told me she had been using SK II Essence Treatment. I told Savvy Mom about it and she gave me a bottle. Bless her heart! I have been using it for about 30 days and must say my pores look smaller and there is a glow in the morning. For the longest time, I resisted buying SK II products because of bad reviews by friends. I am not so sure I will not buy more now. Beauty is not cheap; this 7.2 oz essence is $195. I figure it is better than laser treatment. (image via Saks.com)

Apparently the essence is derived during sake making process. This product came about when it came to light women working in sake factories have beautiful hands. These old women may have wrinkles on the face but their hands looked beautiful. Coming in contact with the essence during sake making process gave their hands youthful look; I heard about this story years ago. Have you used SK II products before and how do you like it?
So a while ago I mentioned I got Savvy Mom this Cyclone Beauty Belt after seeing her friend's smaller abdomen. Anyway, after using this for a month, Savvy Mom said her waist decreased by one inch. Her friend said her waistline decreased by 3 inches in about 3 months. We are on track.....
I also got Kiehl's Acai Moisturizer and toning mist based on reviews from gals around me. I didn't noticed that big of a difference with the mist. But, it is refreshing in the middle of the afternoon to spray my face with a touch up dose. The lotion is perfect for my skin this time of the year, just the right amount of hydration.

Last but not least, the winner of Chanel Quotations and Marc Jacob Earrings is Damsels from We Were Damsels. Congrats! Please e-mail me your mailing information. Have a great Monday savvy gals and guys!

*Don't forget today is the last day to enter giveaway for Neiman Marcus gift card on the upper right hand bar.

  7. I don't think Kiehl really did much for me. But the lotion hydrates my skin decently. However I really like their rare earth mask. Have you tried that for smaller pores?
