I love love love fries. I wish everyone can smell these fries and the sweet tomato puree for dipping. At Montage, we get homemade tomato sauce instead of Ketchup. The taste is light and crunchy.
Serving warm bread really sets the tone for the meal.
I didn't order burger but I stole a few bites. It tasted delicious. A side salad made the meal slightly healthier. I got fish and chips for lunch. Halibut was fresh but I was slight disappointed with the sauces. One had no flavor at all and the other was just vinegar. I thought either the fish or the sauce should have been flavorful.
Overall, I was still quite happy with the experience, although do expect to pay for a nice lunch. A bowl of fries is $12, need I say more? What is better than a lazy lunch on the weekend over look aqua color ocean on a warm sunny day? Please excuse my frazzle look because 4 hours of beauty sleep doesn't do much for a gal. Did you all have a lovely weekend?
I don't eat fries...and really don't know why...

I love your food posts. You always eat the most lovely and tastiest food and as a fellow food lover, I really appreciate that. Hehe. I also think it would be beyond fabulous to go shopping with you and do lunch. Such a shame we don't live in the same town! Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a wonderful week! xoxo
I need to check this place out. Laguna is amazingly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi there-fries are a total indulgence, this restaurant sounds fab!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Montage.
ReplyDeleteWhen Brian and I were dating long distance, he arranged for a friend to take me to the spa there for a massage and spa day. I had no idea he planned it, I thought my friend arranged the whole thing. But then when I came out, he was waiting there in a suit and tie - I thought he was still in Texas! I had no idea he was coming to Cali! After that, he took me on a wine and cheese tasting, and then a cooking class at the Laguna Culinary Arts school. Then we took our meal to the beach where we met and he proposed. The Montage brings back happy memories.
You look GREAT!
