Chloe Marcie Bag

Chloe is usually not on my shopping-for-bag radar. However, I am sorta in "like", not love yet, with the Chloe Marcie.  Just like the Paraty, I like python version, as seen on Katie Holmes.  Why does it have to cost an arm and a leg? Gal pal has a python Paraty and it is butter soft.  Apparently Marcie is one of the new IT bag among celebs and socialites alike for its vintage, casual look.  I do like the vintage, casual look of the bag.  The flap on the front with stitching detail just makes the bag that much more unique.  I like both the large (on Jessica Alba) or the smaller version (on Rachel Bilson).  Although with the large, a gal can develop shoulder issue if she can't resist putting everything but the kitchen sink into the bag.
I like the single strap version slightly better than the double strap but it is a pretty even tossup. Anyhoo, the retail prices for these lovelies ain't cheap, between close $1500 to about $1800.Which version do you like better?

  1. Mhmmm... I love Chloe. I have got a 3 bag from this label, but my fave is definitely my Bays! :) I die for the Chloe Parathy too, especially the python version... Marcie? I love the beige one. :)

  3. I have never before fallen for a Chloe bag. But when I saw this one in person I did find myself falling in like with it. I like how horsey it looks. I am tempted.
    Happy weekend!

  4. I think I'm kind of the opposite... I usually really liek Chloe bags, but not so into this one, or not into it yet at least. I love the colors though!

  5. I'm a fan of it. It's one of those bags that will look better with age if you wear it every day. But I'd like it even more if it had a crossbody strap.

  11. I prefer the rich, brown colour to the lighter version - I have such shoulder issues from my gigantic bag that I haul everywhere, I could really use a smaller one like this.
So glad you enjoyed my beauty post, there's nothing better than positive feedback. Thanks for your sweet comment. :)

  15. Hmm I like the colours and the look of the leather, but it reminds me too much of a saddle to want to wear it.
