For years, I have a tradition of cutting my hair and giving myself a new do right after Lunar New Year. It sounds slightly superstitious but cutting my hair symbolizes new change for the new year, almost like out with the old and in with the new. Some of my friends would get a haircut after a breakup or if something bad happened to them. I know cutting one's hair won't change anything really but the act feels quite empowering. To me, it is like taking the initiative to leave bad things, and bad luck behind and moving forward to a brighter future. After an relaxing hour with my stylist, I feel like a new person with my new do. I decided a long bang will be different. Gal pals say a long bang makes me look like a different person, a softer SG. Bangs look great on you, love the new cut! You definately look like a new girl, I think this cut brings out some of you pretty facial features that weren't so noticible before, especially your eyes! And I like it how you have your own ritual with haircuts, I believe this adds to whatever new style you decide to go for.

I've been changing up my outfits and makeup but trying to grow out my hair as much as possible.
Great hairdo - really! Makes you glow.
When I need fresh water in... I'll make up plans for the up-coming months. Travel, outings, exercise ...and probably also go buy a new piece of frock. Little steps that render life sweeter!

when I need to leave the bad/baggage behind I used to use shopping therapy but now I usually go for long walks in my fav park (luckily I haven't had to deal with baggage in a long while).

I've often felt like I wanted to do something new with my hair, but I'm not sure what. I really like your new do, though...the bangs are tres chic.
Anyway, to answer your question, when I need a bit of a pick-me-up, I buy new lingerie. Even if it's something, like a boyshort or tanktop, it tends to be an instant mood lifter.
