Tods Restyled D-Bag

I don't think I can really say anything terrible about Tod's products. I usually turn to Tod's for understated classic shoes and bags. After many generations of D-bag, this new restyled D-bag is still after my own heart. Honestly, it is really nothing to write home about, but I know I will be able to tote this around daily for many years without the bag becoming dated on this savvy gal.
My pocket is obviously not deep enough but isn't this alligator restyled D-bag just yummy looking? If you have an extra $21,000 to spare, this baby can go home with you. Me, I think I will be happy with regular leather for $1345 to $1445.
I like the fact a shoulder strap is included with both bag and tote. This way I can just toss the strap on my shoulder when my hands are otherwise occupied.
As much as I like this new D-bag, the weight is something I will take into consideration. With so much leather, it can become slightly heavy, especially if the bag is full. And, the size of the bag is slightly overwhelming on my petite frame. I like the bag, but do I need another large size bag since I am trying to downsize? What do you think of this new restyled D-bag?

  8. These are adorable but my concern is really the size. I will feel an obligation to fill it up. Then, the bag will weigh a ton. : )

  14. I'm so with you on this bag! It's such a classic, elegant style, although it looks like more for a maturer person. I like the alligator version better as it adds an interesting detail to what could be a boring bag. haha the name is kinda unfortunate if you know what I mean :p

  21. You know...I've never been much a handbag person. But now that I'm all grown-up, I'm thinking I may need more than one. Same with shoes. These posts help me learn about styles and such.

  24. Love! For me, I wouldn't mind the size. I don't like carrying too much stuff either but as a Mommy extra space is a good thing to have. You never know what may need to go in there. ;)
