Poppy by Coach

Apparently Coach is trying to be sensitive to the new economy. They have realized the importance of producing collections that are somewhat wallet friendly. Recently, Coach introduced Poppy, which is a lot more affordable and targets younger audience, age range 18 to 25. After watching an interview of Coach CEO, I think there maybe retail locations for Poppy in the future.
Most of the bags are reasonable and really fun, at lease in my opinion. I see retail falling between $200 to $400 range.

-Groovy Graffiti Hobo 198 (top left)
-Heart logo tote $268 --- SG likes! (top right)
-Poppy Graffiti Glam tote $198 (bottom left)
-Sequin tote in pink $398 --- Consider buying in silver sequin. (bottom right)
-Poppy tee $58
-Heart ring $128
-Poppy pink sequin flats $138
-Barrette sneakers $88 --- I wonder if these are available for kids. I love to buy a pair of Savvy Niece.

This is definitely a young and trendier version of traditional Coach products. I can't say I like every piece but I will not mind picking up a pieces here and there for fun, even if Poppy is out of my age range. ~ smile. What do you think?

  2. 18 to 25? I'd say 12 to 18, honestly :) I like the heart tote, but I'd like the hearts removed lol I'd say, nice try, Coach. Like, Treacle, I like the ring too, but it looks like a lot of other rings found in a lot of other stores... So, I'm not too impressed.

  3. The sequin tote is fun and I also really like the heart ring! I would say that this collection definitely caters to younger Coach lovers, but it would be fun to throw a piece here or there into the mix.

  4. Looks a little too young for me but I am at the tail-end of that demographic. And if they are trying to be wallet-friendly, $200-400 is not the way to go.

  5. Wallet friendly... I like the sound of that! My husband is a fervent ballerina (shoes, naturally;) hater, but I've decided to get a pair... to be comfy and chic! The pair you present could very well do the affair!

  7. I actually love everything Poppy although I might be a little too old for it (cough, cough). As cute as the line is, though, I always seem to reach for something more classic and age-appropriate when I shop at Coach.

  8. These pieces are cute for a younger customer. I still think $400 is way too much for a high school girl to spend on a bag she'll be over in a few months though :) Great post and thanks for bringing this new line to my attention so I know what these are when I see them :) Hope you're having a fabulous week! xo, Mel

  17. I'm in this target age group, but I'm not really feeling it! The ring is cute, but I wouldn't want anything else... I'll just keep up my trips to the outlet store for the regular stuff.

  20. It's not quite for me, but I love that Coach did a younger line for their teen and tween customers. I remember a few years ago (or, heck, even now) when there were 12-year-old girls carrying the drab brown Coach bags with the logo all over them. It's just not fun enough for a young girl!
