Pearl Giveaway & Sponsor Highlight: Louis Anthony Jewelers

I am so excited this Monday morning because there is a super snazzy giveaway at Savvy Mode, thanks to Louis Anthony Jewelers. Pearls have this special place in my heart for its classic elegance. I used to wear pearls only with suits and formal dresses. But, I am giving my pearls new life with casual looks by layering pearl necklace with necklaces of different elements. Also I have changed the look of a pearl necklace by adding a simple black satin bow on the side to wear with t-shirts. This look is casual and chic.

  10. I love wearing pearls everyday! I watched Julie & Julia this weekend and I love that Julia Child would wear her pearls while in the kitchen. It brings a certain romanticism to cooking and I think I will definitly be wearing mine during any impromptu dinner parties! (accented of course with the perfect apron!)

  13. My favorite way to wear pearls is to add an unexpected bit of sophistication to jeans and a top. I currently have 6 sets of freshwater pearls that I love. All of which are different colors, shapes and lengths. Pearls are awesome.

I even received 2 sets of faux pearls for Christmas - chocolate with matching earrings and a double strand set...they are just as much fun as the real deal!

I recently wore my grandmother's pearls with a pair of skinny jeans, a t-shirt and my leather jacket and otk boots. well, not so recently bc my jeans no longer fit thanks to my growing bump:) but I love the look of pearls when paired with a casual outfit and also dressed up for an interview or a simple LBD.

  57. I love my pearls. I have several varieties. My favorite is a gray pearl pendant with matching earrings. However, I have a string of fake pearls that almost match and no one can tell the difference when I wear that necklace with my genuine pearl earrings!

  64. My favorite way to wear pearls? There are so many possibilities! The look I've been wearing most often lately involves an extremely long strand of creamy-colored freshwater pearls that I got while in Maui on vacation a couple of years ago. I wind them around to create a double-strand look, then wear them with a blouse or sweater that matches the cream color. It creates a really beautiful monochromatic look--both unique and classic, at the same time. Pearls are pretty much my favorite way to accessorize outfits!

  87. I use to have a long strand of pearls that had belonged to my grandmother. I miss this strand everyday. I would wear it with almost any article of clothing in my wardrobe. Although my favorite outfit consisted of a mint green halter with the pearls doubled up. I would put on bright red lipstick, a gray pencil skirt and my favorite pair of gray maryjane pumps! It made me feel sexy, glamorous and like a rock star! For any ocassion. :D
