Pink is one of my favorite colors. SO, imagine my delight when I see so many adorable hot pink bags available to us gals this season. However, upon further thinking, I am rethinking the merit of a hot pink bag. I have purchased a couple pink bags in the past but rarely used these lovelies. If that is the case, should I buy anymore pink bags? On the other hand, hot pink is so fun and fresh. A hot pink bag will sure pop against any outfit. Darn, what is a gal to do?

-Kate Spade Big Apple Tote $165 via Saks
-Tory Burch hot pink print tote $225 via Nordstrom

-Lena Erziak Elio $777 (both via Lena Erziak) --- I adore the gold double chains on this tote.
-Lena Erziak Alessio $805

-Botkier Orion shoulder bag $275 via Saks
-Sandra Roberts Rose clutch $98 via Nordstrom --- I know it is not practical but I love it regardless.

-YSL Easy tote $995 via YSL --- A simple bag with bright color is the perfect pairing.
-Valentino hot pink Rose tote $1595 via Saks

My favorite is the Valentino 360 hobo in fuchsia. The silhouette is fairly simple with a feminine touch via the darling bow. The retail price isn't cheap but $1395 for a designer all leather tote is almost negotiable. If I am going to buy a hot pink bag, this will be on top of my list. What is your thought on hot pink bags?

here, value at $300.
I LOVE all these bags and I think the hot pink bag is definately a stylish trend. It is important to make sure there are enough outfits to use it with but if you can style it well then I think it is a must have.
ReplyDeleteGREAT finds, I LOVE these! Ugh, I want them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post. I also love pink and those bags are really great

Ooo,I love the Valentino 360 - it looks familiar, maybe have seen it in other colors? I also liked the Tory Burch.
ReplyDeleteYou know me,I am the same with orange. :D
I don't think I'd actually use a pink bag. I imagine I'd get sick of it soon. But, ironically enough, if I saw someone else carrying one, I'd probably drool a little. I love the style of the Lena Erziak bags.
ReplyDeletelove the pink!
ReplyDeletegreat splash of color for spring/summer...;)
ReplyDeleteThose bags are divine! I buy inexpensive bags in colors I don't use a lot of so it doesn't break my wallet :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not usually a fan of pink bags, but if its just the right hue I may be getting one. Out of all these I like the Kate Spad one, and I've been eyes the Valentino 360 hobo for some time now... Love it.
ReplyDeleteI personally wouldn't get too much wear from a hot pink bag, but I'm drawn to the unusual shapes of the Lena Erziak pieces! especially that hexagonal clutch thing. It would be really cute for evening.
ReplyDeleteI love this color. But you're right. I don't use my pink bags nearly enough. I've sort of gotten into a bag rut, actually.
ReplyDeleteYou may laugh when I tell you that I love hot pink stuff. Yes, I'm a boring black/gray person but I love bright popping hot pinks. The Kate Spade bag is so perfect. I would definitely use it for summer.
ReplyDeletei too, love pink. I honestly wasn't too thrilled with the bags... until the last one... the Valentino 360 hobo in fuchsia. Then i screamed a little.
ReplyDelete:) i love it!
the pop in color is JUST what every girl needs!
love the Valentino tote!
ReplyDeleteI really like the Kate Spade bag! Plus I have a pair of heels that would match it perfectly! Though that said, I find hot pink hard to wear/match. So I tend to purchase soft pinks more often.
ReplyDeleteThere's always one colour that gets you. The Valentino 360 hobo is fab!
ReplyDeleteOh, that YSL is perfect for me. :-D

I love hot pink because it goes so well with black, white, gray, and denim--it adds just the right pop of colour. However, I wouldn't want to get an expensive handbag in hot pink just to add a jolt to my daily outfits. A scarf, maybe, or a tee.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post filled with my favourite colors!
ReplyDeleteThat Valentino bag is to die for...Great selection!
Cheers: Evi
At the moment I don't have a hot pink bag, but I wouldn't mind one either...hehe

ReplyDeleteI LOVE hot pink bags - specifically the Valentino Hot Pink Rose Tote - but I am incredibly frightened to buy one for fear that it won't get much use. :/
ReplyDeletei love both valentinos! so much!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the tote shape of Kate Spade but I wish it was in a more pale pink! Hot pink is too much of a statement for me =P
ReplyDeletei love the valentino best too. but i'm not really such a hot pink person or pink person in general but i like the idea of it :)

I absolutely love that big floral piece! perfect for pink!
ReplyDeleteI love pink, but not so much hot pink. But if I see that Valentino 360 hobo in red...oh man. Somebody would have to restrain me.
ReplyDeleteThat Valentino with the rose is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThat rose clutch is absolutely divine. I'm not even a handbag person, but I want it!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, thanks so much for stopping by the blog. I'd love it if you'd come by again to vote on my poll....I'm thinking of making some changes.

All beautiful. There's a little pink in everyone-haha!
ReplyDeleteI am not usually a pink-girl but the Tory Burch one is really pretty.
ReplyDeletei'm not so much of a hot pink type of girl but its definitely a color good for the spring and i think most girls look good in it.
ReplyDeleteI love the Kate Spade and YSL... I would take any color YSL at this point lol.
ReplyDeleteI am all for hot pink bags and think it adds a nice pop of color against a monochromatic outfit. I got the Kooba Blake for my birthday last year in hot pink and love it!
ReplyDeleteThat Valentino bag is gorgeous and I really like the patent Kate Spade as well.
