Normally I will gush with excitement over a Valentino bag but I am not so sure anymore today. As you know, I adore bow, sequin and ruffle. But, when all 3 elements are put together, I am not feeling it. I will be the first to admit this Valentino 360 sequin and ruffle hobo is unique and quite interesting but what in the heck is a gal to do with it? It is a show piece that will become dated next year. Maybe we have to treat it like a collectible. In my humble opinion, this bag has too much of all the good things......

Instead of the show piece, I like the normal 360 hobo with its bow detail and classic silhouette. Now this is a feminine romantic bag a gal will adore for many season to come. The leather is supple and collapses into a casual elegant tote.

There are two sizes available. The large is 17 x 12 x 6 inch for $1395 and the small is 14 x 8 x 6 inch for $1295. What do you think?

Beautiful is the word!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you - I prefer the normal one. It's truly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!! :-)
Yes stick with the 'ordinary'!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree with you. You can definately have too much of a good thing. I'm loving the normal hobo! Btw, I love the hobo shape. You can fit a lot into it (good for Mommies...lol), and yet it doesn't feel like a huge bag. :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer the simple leather one. So amazing...
ReplyDeleteThe first one is toooo kitchy!
Xx
I love the simple one. Classy and beautiful and elegant. The first one is too cluttered and confusing. Lol.
ReplyDeleteUh-oh... the sparkly one is way too showy with way too much going on for me. I would go with the simpler, cream-colored option. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe normal one is better! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the beige and black ones, too. They're so beautiful and elegant just for the shapes.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The first bag is too busy. the bottom ones are much prettier.
ReplyDeleteI like the basic black one too.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I like the bag or not, but I do like showpieces. Who says they're dated in a year? No one is authorized to tell me to stop wearing something :-)
ReplyDeleteKeep them five years and they'll be fascinating. 10 is vintage!
Oh this bag is gorgeous-love the nude shade!
ReplyDeletehmmmm, not my favorite to be honest!
ReplyDeletethe normal black bow bag suits me much better..the sequins, a little too crazy!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...you are right. The first bag is...a bit much. And I'm sure it feels expensive, but just looking at the pictures it appear a bit cheap.
ReplyDeletethe smaller version is the perfect size for an everyday bag i think - definitely too much going on for the sequined and ruffled version. i've had my eye on the red suede version for awhile and just snagged it 50% off at bergdorfs!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the basic black. Such a soft, graceful shape...very feminine.
ReplyDeleteI like the "normal" one...it's GORGEOUS.
ReplyDeletefabulous...but the price are ridiculous..
ReplyDeleteI'm with you--I love the simple black bag.
ReplyDeleteI definitely like the classic one more!
ReplyDeletesuch a fabulous bag! love the large bow
