Soon BF will definitely have more of me to love. He says quite often I need to gain more weight. What is that old saying? Oh yeah, be careful of what you wish for..... I decided to stock up on Godiva chocolate gift boxes as an emergency holiday gift. Well, I stocked up for me too.

First I got Godiva chocolate brownies for myself and BF. These are not super sweet at all, to my surprise. And, the texture and taste are more like flourless chocolate cake instead of traditional chewy brownies. I ate the whole bag by myself. Yuck! Each cone portion is $5.75 but worth every penny.

I just adore chocolate cover nuts and fruits. I got several tubes of chocolate covered cherries and almonds. Boy, they are good. According to Savvy Sis, chocolate covered dried strawberries are super as well. They are on sale now for $10 instead of $12. Also with $50 purchase, I got $10 gift card back. I think I am just going to get on the elliptical now and run like a hamster on the wheel. I "accidentally" ate half a tube of chocolate cherries. I feel sick now. See ya!
LOL, that's the danger of getting foodie gifts for others... you'll somehow always end up getting a little something for yourself as well. I've never tried their brownies, so thanks for the heads-up ;-) But I love chocolate covered anything as well. Don't worry, as long as you don't eat this every day you'll be fine, but your poor stomach is probably wondering what on earth is wrong!
ReplyDeleteIf you get tired of your Godiva stocks, I'm here to take care of them. Promise, they will be in good hands and in my good tummy. Hahaha! I love Godiva.

I like chocolate with sour fruit fillings or fruits. it cuts the sweetness and balances perfectly. Ah.... chocolate biscuits from Godivia are the best. i usually have a box or two at home in case of guests.
