Normally I don't mind spending lots of gold coins on beauty products, especially skin products. However, I can't get myself to spending on mascara. I think it is because I replace mascara often, usually every 4 weeks or so. The moment there is a hint of clumpy lashes, I will replace my mascara. In my opinion, a gal should not leave home without a couple coats of mascara. On days that I feel slightly lazy, I will still curl my lashes with Shu Uemura eyelash curler and apply 2 coats of mascara before leaving the house. Having long curly lashes just makes me feel a bit more glamorous and put together. Also my whole visage look brighter because my eyes are alive.Last week, I got a new tube of Maybelline Lash Stiletto. I bought this for the black with red detail package. It sorta reminds me of Louboutin black heel with red sole. Anyhoo, if you are looking for length, then this is good. But, if you are looking for volume, then this is not it. I was able to wear this for the whole day without getting that afternoon panda looking eyes. Well, since I didn't spend that much (only slightly over $5), I can afford to buy me one with volume. Do you have a favorite mascara to share with us?
Last but not least, the lovely Fashion Therapist gave me this award. I feel so honored, loved and beautiful. Thank you! I am supposed to share 7 random facts about myself:1. I need to clean up my desk before I can work effectively.
2. I never leave home without GPS because I have no sense of direction.
3. I love bag. My first major bag was a Fendi from my mom.
4. I power walk and run to keep fit and yoga helps with muscle tone.
5. I adore macarons.
6. I will read at least 1 to 2 book weekly.
7. A cup of Godiva hot chocolate can perk me up anytime.

Maybelline has been always my choice for mascara. I'm glad that they have new products now. And the packaging is awesome. I got one for lengthening too, it came in a fuschia pink tube.
And Shu Uemura eyelash curler is the best.
They did a great job with the packaging! I've never been overly excited about lengthening mascara. But I'm a sucker for volume like Cover Girl's LashBlast.
I don't have a sense of direction either - and I don't have a GPS! It gets a little frustrating. Haha.

im into fibre mascara atm, when starting to use it, im so clumsy and always get tiny lashes on my cheeks >.< but now i cant live w/o them hehe

Speaking of packaging - that is what drew me to Maybelline's XXL Curl Power Volume + Length - the color reminded me of my blog template - and it works wonders if you use the primer sparingly!

I am really liking Bare Escentuals' latest mascara - I think it's the Flawless Definition mascara. The wand is tiny so it's a little tricky to learn to apply, but I can create as much or little volume as I like.
I've heard great things about the Shu Uemura curler. Is it worth it?

Oh I agree- mascara is not something I would want to spend loads of money on. I am good with Clinique when I can get to the mall, or Loreal if I'm in a pinch and need some quickly. Also, love your 7 things! Hot chocolate is one of my faves too! XOXO

My favorite mascara is mark's Make It Big Lash Plumping Mascara - absolutely amazing, if you ask me! :)
I've been wanting to try that mascara. My lashes are always in need of volume. I tend to use Great Lash. It's simple, and it seems to work well.

I puffy heart that you bought your mascara based on packaging. As orange is my favorite color, I bought my mascara based on the packaging as well - it's CoverGirl LashBlast. And I love it!!
When I had my makeup professionally done, my aesthetician told me that store mascara is just as good as the expensive stuff.
Savvy, you inspired me to put mascara on and I didn't leave the house today. Shu Uemera eyelash curlers rock the house - hands down.

For cheap mascara, I love Glam Eyes by Rimmel!
My favorite mascara is definitely Cover Girl's LashBlast. I'm a huge fan. The only down fall is I have to replace it about every 3 weeks. I don't mind though because it's so cheap. (And maybe it would last longer for some, but I have super sensitive eyes so I'm extremely picky)

For drugstore brands, Covergirl's LashBlast is the best one I've found. The awesomest mascara I've ever used (and I've tried many) has to be Mary Kay's Ultimate Mascara, hands down. It gives my lashes volume and super length - since I've been wearing it, people always ask me if my lashes are real!

I was loyal to Dior for a long time but now always switch mascaras...in pursuit of another fab one at a drugstore price - let me know if you find a great volumizer!
i always put mascara, compact powder, blush on and eyeshadow (even i never wear eyeshadow) on my bag everywhere i go
