Normally I am not big fan of animal motif jewelry pieces but these Boucheron pieces are rather unique. Since it is the holiday season and it doesn't hurt to pretend shopping, why don't we just have a little fun shopping at Boucheron since looking doesn't cost anything at all.

I fell head over heel for this swam motif necklace. A gal sure will make a statement with this baby. I don't know the price but I am pretty sure we can buy a normal house with the retail price.

I adore starfish so I can see myself wear this.

Cute but not a big turtle fan.....

So ugly that it is cute.....

Ah..... romantic!

It is unique but too dark for me.

Again, not a big fan of frogs.....

Hm.... cute but maybe not for me.....
I like nature motif in jewelry but more in terms of flowers and such. Animal motif pieces can be fun but I don't know if I will spend Boucheron price on fun. What about you? What is your favorite piece?

This is fun! My top 3 favs are the starfish, the turtles (so cute!), and the snake (very unique and mysterious).
ReplyDeleteI like the frog one because it reminds me of something that I bought for my grandmother. The frog opened up and inside it had a heart.
ReplyDeleteShe has since passed away and I have it back.
You have some great stuff that gives me ideas of things to buy for women in my life.
You mamy or may not like animal motif jewelry but the Boucheron collection is more art than jewlery design.
ReplyDeleteHave you checked out the Boucheron iguana on Beladora.com? The mix of gemstones and colors is beautiful.

Very cool! I work for a German Jewelry designer and so I appreciate unique jewelry like this. Even if it's not my own personal taste, it is art!! The designer I work for has done things with frogs too - not my taste - but the ring with the frog you showed is quite interesting!
ReplyDeleteIf you enjoy looking at unique designs and concepts check out the company I work for at www.Charlotte.de There are over 300 stores worldwide, but only 2 in the US - one of which I work for. I like having unique things, jewelry being one of them!
Thanks for sharing these amazing pieces! I enjoyed looking at them!!
Wow I really love this stuff! That swan necklace is so cool (and not gonna lie, I kind of like it as a headpiece also)! And that starfish ring is amazing I was drooling!
ReplyDeletePS my giveaway ends today, in case you're interested in winning.

I actually like the turtles...kind of cute. Hmm...i'd go for the panther...a la Cartier.
ReplyDeleteBut truthfully, i'm also not a fan on animals when it comes to jewelry.
If only I can afford it, I will definitely buy those turtle rings. I love turtles. I have four turtle pets.
ReplyDeleteOooh, totally unique and kinda crazy, but love the first piece. Definitely a statement piece!

ReplyDeletei enjoy animal and skull jewelry, but i dont wear them myself, so i enjoy them vicariously through other people. if i had it my way, id have skulls and leopard/panther and crocodile/alligator jewelry and stuff all over the place.
ReplyDeletethe turtles are quite charming, as is the "ugly" chameleon.

ReplyDeletebest eye candy i've seen all week! o.O i love all of it except the last piece (eh...i guess my favorite hedgehog will always be Sonic). My favorite is hands down the swan necklace & ring! xx (very Bjork but without the nuttiness lol)
ReplyDeleteHey there Savvy darling.. I had to move my domain because of a few bullies... blogzillas... not sure if you got my e-mail but here is the new site. As for the post... she is HOT, and the bling.. where do you find these fab finds?
ReplyDeleteI think I agree with you on these, although the star fish seem wearable. Animal motifs are a bit too cutesy and kitschy for me to like them for a long time.
