How to Make Crispy Noodle with Beef and Vegetable in Oyster Sauces
-Use fresh thin Chinese egg noodles (follow instruction on package)
-Liberally add vegetable oil to a non-stick frying pan
-I added a tablespoon of toasted sesame oil for additional flavor
-Add noodles and pan fry until golden and crispy (stir noodles to make sure every strand gets pan fried)
-Remove noodle and using the same pan....
-Saute ground beef, and minced clove of garlic
-add Chinese broccoli, Bak Choy, and white part of green scallion (cut into 1 inch sections)
-add oyster and chilly sauces (I usually add a little first and taste before adding more.)
-I added about 1/2 cup of chicken stock b/c I like lots of sauce
-add corn starch water, rest of the green scallion sections and turn off heat
***I usually don't take much measurement when I cook, but if anyone has question, feel free to e-mail me at savvymode@gmail.com. Also you can use any toppings of choice.
Between rice and noodle, I will pick noodle almost always. What about you?
Hi there-this recipe sounds delicious, I must try it out, thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really good! I'm with you on the noodles.
ReplyDeleteThe bird is adorable! My boyfriend's parents had an overly friendly robin that would let you feed it. We'd give it meal worms (gross) with a pair of tweezers.
Ooooooh I love noodles!
ReplyDeleteThat recipe looks delish!
Cute birds too :)
xoxox,
CC
you are making me drool!!
ReplyDeleteLooks so yummy! I love both, though I usually pick rice ;) And those birds are getting ready for winter I think. Can they still fly? LOL!
ReplyDeleteNoodles for me, all the way. They're more fun to eat. The recipe looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteThose birds are darling. They do appear slightly rotund, though; I wonder if they got into your Chinese noodles? ;)
sounds very, very yummy! great shot on the finished dish!
ReplyDeleteYUM that looks so delish and I love Chinese crispy noodles - thank you SO much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the recipe. It looks so yummy; can't wait to try it out! Hmm that is a very good question, normally I would say rice but if my noodles come out as good as that picture I think I will be singing a different tune. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a pasta girl!
ReplyDeleteAnd looks like those birds are putting on their winter fat.
Noodles always trump rice in my book! What a cute little round bird...Miss Bubble looks like a Disney animation character just waiting to happen :)
ReplyDeleteWe are worried they don't exercise enough so I will try to chase them around. Just there are more and more fat birds now. I think those sunflower seeds are fattening them up.....
ReplyDeleteI always pick noodles over rice, as well. Mmm...this post has made me so hungry! :)
