Grey Dress & Blue Paris Hilton Bow Heels 4 Girls Night Out
As I said before, I am guilty of buying dresses only to leave these poor darlings in the closet. To redeem myself, I decided to wear dresses more often. So for my night out with gal pals, I opted for a grey dress Savvy Sis gave me last year. I like all the embellishment around the collar. It is so important to keep gal pals even when a gal is in a relationship or marriage.
Initially I was going to wear the dress with a necklace but that looked too busy. Instead, I added a wide black ribbon to cinch the waistline and dropped the necklace. I left the house in the second photo. I was going for the classy romantic look.
A while ago I held a Paris Hilton shoes giveaway, the folks at Paris Hilton shoes also gave me a pair to review. This pair looked exactly like the Valentino bow heels I drooled over for months. I didn't get a chance until now to take these babies out for a spin. I am not really accustom to walking on super high heels so at the end of the night, my feet screamed at me in anger. Regardless, I will be wearing these again, I just need to make sure I can sit down most of the time.
I didn't know what to pair with this blue initially but I figured grey, white, blue and beige will do nicely. The other day, I saw a gal wearing a pair of dark blue heels with gold bronze dress. She looked pretty snazzy. Next, I am thinking of pairing this with a yellow dress. What would you pick to pair with this pair of shoes or any blue shoes?

ReplyDeletePretty! The shoes look great. I bet they'd be pretty with silver for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteI especially like jacket thrown on!!
ReplyDeleteNice styling - I agree necklaces with embellished necklines just don't work. That's where I put my belts or sashes to use instead!
ReplyDeleteAlso, my feet are hurting just from looking at those shoes (patent peeptoe, ouch). They're cute, though!
good job. i agree with the necklace and neckline statements. but otherwise you are looking good!
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are so cute, but I must agree with the previous comment, they look like they hurt. What we sacrifice to look cute! I would pair the shoes with a pink dress!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this outfit, SG! And I love the fact that you seem to have fairly regular girls nights- I totally agree that this is uber important.
ReplyDeleteLove those shoes too- they make your legs look gorgeous.
I'd probably pair them with gray just as you did- I love that color combo.

You looked very stylish and in vogue - bravo! You were right in dropping the necklace. It would have been far too busy.
ReplyDeleteWhat to wear with those gorgeous pumps... I'd go for a hot pink dress - the same shade as under the shoe. Or a silver dress. Or why not a black tunic with purple or blueish leggings. Black and white would go well too.
LOVE this look! And I remember those heels :)
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! And I love those shoes. Love them.
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely in the gray dress and I am totally drooling over those blue shoes. I remember those! I loved them then and I love them now. :P
ReplyDeleteSG, you look amazing! Love that dress - especially the sleeves! And your jacket too! And yes - I love, love, love navy or deep blue with gold.

ReplyDeleteWow! That simple outfit looks really sexy. Glad you ditched the necklace. The embellished collar is all it needs. And those shoes look really great with it. Makes the outfit really pop. I'd wear with any of the colors you suggested, especially the yellow.

Great outfit! Love the combo of grey and blue. I actually thought both outfit incarnations looked great. Hmm those shoes look a little too shiny in the photo and as if they wouldn't stretch much, but they def look like those Valentinos!
