Honestly when I saw this pair of flip flop, I was flabbergasted. What in the world are the people at Hermes thinking? I understand Hermes wants clients to have the total Hermes lifestyle but this is just pushing the boundary. Perhaps it is because my pocket is not keep enough but I talked to women who had no problem buying 2 to 3 Hermes bags plus other accessories each year and they too said they would not spend $330 on a pair of flip flop, even with the Hermes logo. For me to pay $330 for a pair of rubber flip flop, it better be able to cook and clean as well. To me flip flops are supposed to be disposable so if I don't feel comfortable tossing these in about 6 months then I guess I can't afford it. What do you think?
ps. Today is the last day for Crazy for Bow Shoe Giveaway (see side bar on left)
I agree that if I'm paying that much for a flip flop that it better cook and clean for me too!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot for a rubber flip flop!

ReplyDeletethanks so much for your sweet birthday wishes, darling! xo
so expensive for the flip-flop :-O
ReplyDeleteXoXo
$330 for a pair of flip flop???!!!?? OH NO!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, $330 for flip flops, that is definitely too much! I much prefer the Havaianas!
ReplyDeleteThat is super expensive for flip-flops, especially ones that aren't really that cute. And who is going to see the Hermes logo when you're wearing them on the beach? Plus, the logo will totally wear off quickly I bet.
ReplyDeleteSheesh.
Honey, I'm with you. Rubber? That is not the correct price tag for rubber. No matter the label.
ReplyDeleteI have some prime real estate (swamp land) for sale in S. Louisiana for whomever plans to buy $300 flip flops.
ReplyDeletewell, good enough to frame in a shadow box!
ReplyDeleteAgain, Hermes is killing me slowly...dang*
Anyone who has a spare $330 can spend it on my jewelry instead of this ugliness!
ReplyDeleteRIDICULOUSNESS!! so insane.
ReplyDeletei'm sorry.. excuse me... $330 for FLIP FLOPS?!!!????????????? *faint*
ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope that if I ever have the money to be in the Hermes store contemplating $330 flip flops, that I have the sense to give $300 to a good cause and go to Target for the footwear.
ReplyDeleteThat is REDIC....they look like Rainbows haha
ReplyDeleteYikes! I'll stick to my j crew ones!
ReplyDeleteOH no!
ReplyDeleteThis is out of control!
ReplyDeleteHi darling! So great!

Wow, do they not know we are in a recession?! Ludicrous I tell ya.
ReplyDeleteOn a positive note, I just tagged AND awarded you. Check out my blog! :)
I agree- this is ridiculous! I would never spend that much on flip flops!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I think my wedding dress was just a little more than those flip flops.
ReplyDeleteLuxury Hermès slippers? Probably worth it for those with the cash to spare. But flip flops?! That is some serious price tag for something you could get from Haviannas. I guess it just caters to those people with more money than sense. If they can sell it at that price, good luck to them! Hope you're having a beautiful day :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I would not pay $330 for a pair of rubber flip flops. It's just the designer name, but you could go to old navy and buy a pair for $5!
ReplyDeleteI agree; this is ridiculous! Especially in this economy, to even SELL these boring sandals @ that price is insane to me!
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy the little drawn wings behind them though, haha.
Are you serious!? Who would buy that? That's really silly of Hermes to be honest. You must be either crazy or have millions of dollars as pocket money then maybe.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone, without the hermes logo, we can't even say it's unique.....
ReplyDeleteWow. The buyers of this flop have money to burn. Ah ha
ReplyDeleteIt is ridiculous! Hermes is just money grabbing now. How can they charge $330 for a pair of flip flops, it is just wrong.
ReplyDeletecrazy, crazy
ReplyDeletethanks love!!! =)

That is ridiculous! Go to Old Navy....they are flipflop kings!

Crazy...never would I spend that much on flip flops. I usually get mine at Old Navy and get new pairs every summer! Usually one in each basic color.
ReplyDeleteThey can just keep it lol coz I'll stick with my havaianas :)

That is ridiculous. I couldn't see paying that much for flip flops. I pay like a dollar or so.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's kind of ridic. Not interesting enough for that price.
ReplyDeletehokey cow dude, 330 dollars for flip flops? I am all for nice things but that is too much! I don't see the point...perhaps if they were magical and every time I slipped them on I became invisible... now that would be sweeeet!
ReplyDeletewhat?!! 330 for flipflops?!
ReplyDeleteno way!
arghh...this is so expensive for the flipflops!
if i had the money, still i'm not convince to buy these
flipflops.
i'd rather invest my money into something useful.
Maybe they're magic slippers... ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd they are RUBBER??? No way in hell haha
ReplyDeletemaybe if they were made of leather and were special in someway then MAYBE but only if I was super rich...
I love that you posted this. I had kept the Hermes e-mail in my in-box to do my own little update on the ridiculousness of their flip flops. Ridiculous. And for that price, you could buy a scarf!
ReplyDeleteOh my!
ReplyDeleteHow silly! Nobody would even be able to see the logo when you're wearing them anyways so what's the point?!
ReplyDeleteI don't even like them, I'm not that big of an H fan anyway, but that's just silly. I bet there are quite many ppl that would 'nt even blink to that price, and want the total H look, well to each his/her own...
ReplyDeleteI prefer spending that money to a fabulous restaurant, so I guess I'm even worse, because there is nothing left after I pay.
