Beauty Giveaway: Dr. Perricone Advanced Face Firming Activator

After my facial couple of weeks ago, I realized a gal just cannot start too early with beauty regiments and we do need to care for our skin if we want to get carded pass age of 30. At age 21 it was quite annoying; now it would be a pleasure to show my ID. Anyhoo, getting back to business. Thanks to Dr. Perricone, a lucky Savvy Mode reader will have a chance to take home a bottle of Advanced Face Firming Activator (retail value $120). It is one of their best sellers. This product will help to firm, tone and reduce lines and wrinkles, giving skin a beautiful glowing appearance. When I was younger, I never think about caring for my skin thinking I have youth and it will last forever. But now, older and wiser, I know it is not true and without proper care lines and wrinkles are literally just around the corner.Ladies, I am not just blah blah blah-ing about Perricone because of the giveaway, I actually had a chance to try Dr. Perricone's products last year when gal pal purchased quite a bit of products at the Perricone counter. By default, I got lots of free samples to try. I had the opportunity to try Concentrated Restorative Treatment, and Neuropeptide Facial Conformer. I liked both products, especially Neuropeptide Facial Conformer but I couldn't talk myself into paying $325 for an ounce even if my face looked silky and smooth almost immediately. One of these days.....

For myself this coming winter, I am interested in trying out the Hydrator after reading about it. I like the idea it will work on lines and wrinkles and is formulated for oily skin as I have this T-zone issue. It is so important to keep skin hydrated in the winter. As many of you know already I am a big La Mer fan but I think it is good to use different products. I plan to use Hydrator in the morning. For 2 oz, the cost is $55, I am quite happy with that.

While browsing Perricone site for information about Advanced Face Firming Activator, I came across Perricone Prescription Diet which offered information about beauty, lifestyle, products and even yummy recipes. For those gals who are interested in giving Perricone a chance but don't know what is appropriate, taking this skin quiz will help to find the proper regiment.

To enter you just have to leave me a comment about why Advanced Face Firming Activator will be good for you. Just out of curiosity, what were some products that didn't work for you? For me, it was Philosophy Hope in a Jar. Savvy Sis raved about it but I just got red itchy skin. This giveaway will end on August 15, 2009 and I will post the winner on Aug. 16, 2009. I am forever saying sorry to my international readers but this is for those with an U.S. address.

*As usual, Savvy Mode followers/subscriber will get one additional entry. For those who share this giveaway will receive 2 additional entries.

  3. I always love to try out new products. Its interesting to see if they work for your skin, since we are all so different and in different need of care, when it comes to skincare. While everybody boosted about Diorshow Mascara, I think it is the worst one I have ever tried. Dry and clumpy and way overpriced. Hope you have a great sunday!

  4. I think this would be great for me as I scrape my face off of the pillow every morning because my children are so young and don't always sleep wonderfully. Also, I tried Avon botanicals and they made me itchy and smelled a little weird. I don't recommend them at all.

  5. This sounds like a great product... I am always on the hunt for a good serum type product... For a while, I was using Natura Bisse, and while I enjoyed their peels, I wasn't digging on the creams all that much. You're very young, girl :) I'm way over that age limit and luckily, get carded ALL the time. So I want to keep it that way!

Gosh that stuff sounds so freaking good. I'm at the age where they start recommending that kind of stuff (25). But a lot of popular products make me break out...sigh. I'd love to try this one!

  15. I heard of Perricone. You are so right, we need to lift and firm starting in the late 20's. I am not a big fan of Chanel skincare; my skin becomes red and itchy.

  16. I am a follower, and would love to have it, not for myself, but for my mother. I am only 19, and think it may just be a tad bit ridiculous if I start using it now. My mom is just turned 50, and has recently started using an Avon wrinkle cream. She seems to like it but is always saying how she wishes she could afford the creams that are raved about. She does so much for me, I would love to buy her a great one, but my college budget just cannot afford that!

  20. I'd love to try this. I'm still in my 20s and I keep thinking that I really need to take better care of my skin.

I tried Hope in a Jar too and I loved how soft it made my normally dry skin, but I kept getting breakouts with it, so I had to retire the jar. Bummer.

    (And of course I'm a follower! :-) )

  22. I think the Activator would be good for me b/c I am pretty anal about anti-aging and always up for trying new products! :)

Neutrogena products always broke me out so I stopped using them.

  28. I'd love to win this! I've only used grocery store skin care products so it would be great to try some high end stuff! A lot of products I've tried really dry out my skin after continued use and I think Perricone might be the solution. Thanks for the giveaway!

  32. I would love Philosophy Face Firming Activator because I am one of those lazy young people who thinks I will have firm skin forever, and I need to start taking care of it!!

Stuff that doesn't work for me.. gosh there is plenty. Thick nasty moisturizers from the drug store =(

  33. I would love to try products from Dr. Perricone. I've tried many products before without any good results and I only ended up with irritation. I'm hoping that Dr. Perricones's Advanced Face Firming Activator will do wonders for me like it has for you. Thanks
