Valentino D'Orsay Pumps vs. Paris Hilton Senorita Bow Heels

It is often said imitation is the best form of flattery. Well Mr. Valentino, you should be very flattered because Paris Hilton is deeded inspired by your works. Heels above are Valentino pumps and the pair below is by Paris Hilton for Antebi Footwear. Is it just me, or there is uncanny resemblance? Looking at the side profile, Valentino heels offer a more refine heel design and I am sure the leather will be more refine as well. But I guess the price of $695 (silver pair) can be a little costly for most of us gals. The pair in red patent leather is on sale at Valentino boutique for $417.

Anyway for those gals wishing to have the design without paying an arm and a leg these lovelies are available at Zappo.com for only $93. If this pair is anything like the Valentino in silver, then they are worth every penny because Valentino D'Orsay pumps make a gal's leg extra long. Regardless of which pair, the design is quite feminine and classic. What do you think? I wonder if the pair by Paris Hilton is comfortable?

This time, I think the less expensive ones actually look better! They are all lovely though!

I saw the Valentinos at Bergdorf's and it was love at first sight! I like the Paris version, though, too! Still...$93 is a lot, but a heck of a lot better than $417!

i refuse to wear steve madden (which means no elizabeth & jane shoes either), paris hilton, or jessica simpson shoes. so they are a definite no for me.

Oh Paris. I'm quite surprised that they are decent looking. But then again, they are very much - emphasis on VERY much - inspired by Valentino!

Wow, cute! I'm kind of embarrassed to say I would buy those pair of Paris' shoes.

I prefer the Valentino pairs...the Paris ones look a little too flashy for me. Maybe it's the lighting...
But hey, $93 is not bad at all...

I adore Valentino ones but I wouldn't mind giving Ms. Hilton a chance....

I can't believe I am saying this (especially because Valentino is the best of the best in my book) but Paris' shoes are actually really cute! Love them both actually! Have a great weekend :) xoxo

I bet the Valentinos are more comfortable, and I like the backs better too. I love slingbacks, but have a full backing on the shoe definitely makes it easier to walk in! I do love the color of Paris', though...

Funny, but it looks almost identical...lol...the least expensive price is always a bonus...so I'd probably try the Paris Hilton version...lol

still too expensive, but darling.

Wow, what a blatant knock-off! hmm... Not against knock-offs but it's weird when they're claimed to be designed by someone else..
