Personally I like the comfort of rolled up pants or jeans so I shouldn't point finger and judge. However, I am going to judge and point finger in this case. I know shorter pant length seems to be the rage for men now but why? To be honest, it is okay to roll up one's jeans to go casual for the day painting the house or walking around the beach but it is another thing to wear short dressy trouser with jacket to go to work or out to dinner. I didn't see any guy dressing like this having dinner at Le Cirque.-left Tim Hamilton

Ew, I say ew. I too like the comfort and look of rolled-up pants, but this is not okay.
And, I agree, if my bf had showed up on our first date like this, I wouldn't have been able to date him.
hi honey. how has your weekend been dear? hope you have had a happy 4th july!
Honey funny enough I love this cropped pant leg look on men but i think it has to be done right and depends on the mans proportions, figure and of course it does not suit a professional situation such as an interview.
The other day i was on the tube and this very stylish looking gentleman, was in a khaki slightly cropped pair, a thin short sleeve t-shirt,the most delish men's gladiators and a straw boater hat, he looked fabulous so i think he made it work. It is a tricky length but it can be made savvy dependant on the wearers body type and of course how they wear it :)
yummy post darling!

I think it's probably a tough look to pull off, off the runway, that is... but I rather like the Comme de Garcons!

Ummmmmm, no.
I completely agree with you- it is fine for a casual day a on the beach, but in slacks?!?! Nooo! :)
Hands up for sloppy. For some reason I cannot embrace the idea of having cropped pants like that as a fashion trend, just seems to informal and a tad cheap to me. Maybe for a day out at the beach or something, but for anything else nuh uh.

I can't get into it. Not masculine enough for me.
I agree with Kristin. It's kind of a fey look.
i do love short pants on stylish men, cuffed just above the ankle. any higher reminds me of women's capri pants! xx
Sloppy for sure.
A casual look is okay but with jacket is too casual. It takes a stylish guy to pull the look off. I think most men I know wouldn't be able to look stylish.
Ugh...noooo! Just reminds me of old guys with badly fitting trousers that are too short. Not good ever. Sloppy.
I like them on mannequins, but I wouldn't advise my husband or my brother to wear them.
I'm not a fan of any of those looks. Tacky.
I agree this style can be casual comfort but I really don't know men in my circle who would look good. Beside a guy would need to be tall and with lots of personality to carry off this look well.
Soooo...when my boys grow out of their pants I don't have to buy them new ones now.....;D
i think there are definitely men who could wear this and wear it well. of course its not for everyone and not for more conservative environments.
I agree with the peson who said that this style is not for everyone but for someone who has the right body type and the right personality. Personally, it's a very laid back style for me..maybe too much.
Oh NOOOOOO! It makes me think of K-Fed in the day's of Brit and his man-pri's. It's aweful. Shorts yes, pants yes, short pants a resounding NO.
Some guys can pull it off, but I think most guys should stick to long pants!

Ooh, I kinda like this look. When done right from head to toe it is extremely dapper.
I agree Lily G... :)

It all depends on how the outfit is styled...Yes, I do love the look of rolled up pants or jeans and I always style my fiancee like that....haha
Obviously, it won't look nice with dressy shoes and socks and a blazer, however if worn with loafers, white t and cardigan- it will look awesome!
xoxo
MImi
not a fan of this look
not a fan....at least not for my husband, though someone really fashion forward could pull it off
Aiya, this one had best not be touched except by the most bravest, stylish men!
Yohji has such amazing menswear! beautiful
