For years, Bally reminded me of moms and grandmothers. Remembering my younger days, Bally was a brand I earmarked as a brand for when I no longer cared about being chic and stylish. In another word, when I turned old and gray and conservative. However there seems to be a trend in Bally to become younger and modern. I walked by the window last week and noticed these cute prints. And, behind the bags, there are these hot pink and gold color ballet flats which I am curious to try. Perhaps Ball is not so old after all. What do you think?
they've taken on a much fresher look and I LOVE it :)

Yes, a couple of years ago I noticed they had really great designs and ideas.
ReplyDeletecute bag design although they'd have to do quite a bit to win over our demographic. the perception that it is for older women is entrenched.
ReplyDeleteSeems like they are worth a second look.
ReplyDeletelove the flats!
ReplyDeletehave you tried la mer lip balm?
I totally agree with you. I always associated Bally with my mother but I'm starting to see really stylish pieces.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about Bally. Every so often they make something super-cool (a few years ago they reissued a vintage style; there was also a whisper-thin leather messegner pouch).

ReplyDeleteI have always thought the brand was for older women. Maybe I was wrong...

ReplyDeleteI have never even heard of Bally. But judging from the store window, with those cute little illustrations of flapper-inspired girls; and those divine flats (I'll take them in both gold and pink!) I say get in there, try them on, and take them home! :)
