Not all plastic flower jellies are created equal. Chanel started the floral jelly sandal trend 2 seasons ago and the style has been going strong like the energizer bunny. Although these thong sandals by Stuart Weitzman are cute, they lack the delicate touch of Chanel sandals
here. Somehow something is just not right. Not wanting to be a brand snob, I gave these a try just to be fair. I find these jelly sandals uncomfortable, the material is quite hard and unbending. Even though these are $125 compare to Chanel's outrageous $345, I like the ones by Chanel more. What do you think, savvy or sloppy?
Hmm, well I think that comfort is essential :)
ReplyDeleteBut the $220 difference is alot!
They're cute though :)

I've been living in my floral jellies from J Crew. They are adorable, come in AMAZING colors, and are under thirty dollars... can't beat that.

ooo these are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, I like the Chanel ones better.
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers, but I think they'd look cute on the end of a pair of flats.
ReplyDeleteThe Chanel ones are cute, those up there are kinda.. plain and it does look uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteThey look cute, but kinda just like a larger version of those tiny kiddy ones. The chanel ones are way cuter. These ones even though still $125 look cheap.. sloppy!!

I don't really like the jelly sandal look... I think I like the 80's classic flats more?
ReplyDeletethat jelly sandal look so cute. but i want to ask you something, are they comfortable to use?? i think the price are so expensive for Indonesia buyer like me. but, i really like the design.
ReplyDeleteI'm just too scared about the comfort factor to try jellies.
ReplyDeleteI am all for comfort, but they're really cute. I like the silver pair a lot.
ReplyDeleteCute!
ReplyDeleteI saw those on Saturday....not sure I would splurge, but I loved the flower
ReplyDeleteI have the gold and love them! I don't think they are uncomfortable at all.
ReplyDeleteI got the Stuart Weitzman ones on their summer sale for $50, in organge, and I LOVE them! People literally stop me in the streets to ask where I got them - and most people think they are the Chanel sandals. They were a little stiff the first day but now they are SOOO comfie that I wear them everywhere! The color is gorgeous and they perk up anything I wear. Maybe I'd go for the Chanel ones if I found them for $50, which is all I think anyone should ever pay for PLASTIC SHOES - but quite frankly I actually love these. The flower is very intricate and very well done.
