There is a special weak spot for me with Tod's shoes and bags. After seeing my family with their blue and black Pashmy D-bags, I have been itching to add one to my bag collection. So my dream is fulfilled with this gold/beige color lovely. It's just so perfect for spring, summer and fall. I don't know if I will use this keep of winter but living in So Cal, I guess I can.
Initially I wanted the black or the gray but gold/beige color is so much more versatile. This is a classic Tod's which is still in production, just different colors. I think black is still available and there is a lighter blue available at Saks. Even though it's nylon but the material is very refine.
The bag weights almost nothing which is good for my shoulders. I have bags weighing as much as 8 to 10 pounds after filling the bag with my stuff. It can be trying after a few hours. There are pockets out front for keys and such. But to be honest, not all the front pockets are deep enough to store things. There is no zipper to close the top but the 2 side toggles make this tote relatively secure.
This tote will be perfect with my new gold Kor studded leather sandals and Armani dress. I am happy going into this weekend. So what bag are you coveting right now? My friend wants a Bottega Veneta hobo.
