On Friday, I gave myself the morning off to shop and lunch with friends. I ended up giving myself the day off. Oops! Anyway, Optical Shop of Aspens currently holding a huge sale and all sorts of designer glasses and sunglasses are discounted from 30% to about 80% off.
I picked up these frameless sunnies by Kieselstein-cord. The retail price was $475 and I paid $79, I couldn't believe the deal. I have been buying oversize shades for a while and want something more streamline this summer just for a change.
My SA tells me these Kieselstein-cord sunglasses are all handmade in Japan and gold colors are gold plated and silver colors are sterling silver. I already know the brand makes the most amazing jewelry pieces and high quality bags, but have not a clue glasses are part of the portfolio too. I am glad; these are gorgeous and so well made.
These are my new shades.
A close up look of Kieselstein-cord gator, it's the logo which can be found on many of the products.
Normally I am not a huge fan of Kieselstein-cord bags, but this one is simple and will be a piece I might consider for the future.
Kieselstein-cord offer bold pieces of jewelry which I find very interesting. The cuff above has me drooling on my keyboard.
Gal pal purchased a pair very similar to the pair above in purple-ish pink. I am thinking if I should pick one up too. What do you think?
