Chanel Ballet Flats

For some reason, I am totally obsessed with the color red recently, especially with shoes. I have been searching high and low for that pair of perfect red. While at Chanel the other day, I tried on this pair of red ballet flats in patent leather. I love this shiny cherry red color. These would be perfect with casual white tee and denim or a chic black outfit. Not to mention, like other Chanel ballet flats, this particular pair is very comfortable too. To be honest, I am not too crazy with the price of about $600. I like them but not enough to shell out this much money. I think I shall continue on my search. What do you think?

SO beautiful. I want a pair now. I'm sure you could find a cheaper pair, just as cute. Shop around and you'll be fine.

Funny thought -- I saw those same shoes today in the window at Chanel while I was taking a walk. Absolutely love them, I've got them in silver and in black and they are fantastic wear with everything shoes, but I agree with you on the red. However, red can definately be a classic color so the shoes could become a wardrobe staple and thus worth the price tag.

Have you checked Tod's? They may have it in a red you like, and less expensive too. :)

LOVE Cherry red! Kate Spade always has something amazing and red. I worked for the company for a long time and still buy the shoes...

I'm a sucker for Chanel but you've gotta LOVE them, without a doubt, if you're going to spend $600. What do you think of the Patent Red Reva Ballerinas at Tory Burch? www.toryburch.com They'll give you that "shiny red" and they're super comfy! Plus at $195 you can spend that $405 on something else you love :) ...in case you're wondering, no, I don't work for them, LOL.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog yesterday! I'm in the process of "moving" so it' under reno...

$600 for flats is a bit much for me... But if you like them, and they're comfy, and you know you're going to wear them lots, thats better than spending $200 on a pair that you never wear! right? ;)

Oh so gorgeous! Cath and I have always wanted a pair of ruby slippers- but $600 without the rubies? hmmm...

i love them, i have purchased the same chanel flats in beige/black, black and black/brown and nothing in color yet so i think red would be great but $600. i am thinking Tod's or Tory Burch as well. I don't have Tory Burch yet, so maybe it's a good alternative.

A bright colored flats are great for a trip where there will be alot of walking. Put on a simple sheath and let the shoes do all the talking. And instead of clicking your heels together and asking to go home....click them and ask to be taken away...

so save your money for your trip and still keep on searching.

I love them! I think they are worth it. I've always wanted a pair of those classic chanel flats or the classic ferragamo flats but then I always get distracted by heels and have yet to invest in a pair of flats. Will need to soon!
