Building a Professional Wardrobe for Women
Back in my suit wearing corporate days, I struggled with the desire to be stylish yet I couldn't keep on buying stylish outfits as my salary couldn't support this habit. Unlike guys, I can't just buy 2 suits with 6 dress shirts and a dozen ties to complete my working wardrobe. With my own past experience in mind I asked one of my best friends who happened to be a super stylish image consultant for a solution to help gals just entering the job market. Michelle who is the founder and president of Global Image Group put together a short video to educate women on how to built a professional wardrobe and how to mix and match suits to create multiple looks so a gal can be stylish without buying a dozen suits. Although image is not everything, the right image can certainly help during an important interview or business meeting. I hope this will help gals who are new to the workplace and is working on building a professional wardrobe.

This is extremely helpful. I must admit, I don't have the most professional wardrobe myself - mine is more trendy, cute, and fun. I will definitely heed this advice for future "professional" needs. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's really helpful - I doubt I'll ever really be in a conservative corporate setting but it doesn't hurt to know how to build a wardrobe.

What a helpful video :) I always think women have the harder task when it comes to business wear, with men you only need a few suits! Mixing and matching is so much harder, but I suppose the possibilities it gives you can be more interesting :) Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
