Pearls ain't for grandmas anymore! In fact, pearls are downright trendy and stylish. I used to think of pearls as conservative strands to wear with suits and during weddings but modern day pearls are edgy and oh so stylish which are perfect with suits for the office or cocktail dresses for an evening out.

I simply adore Chanel's glass pearl necklaces. It's ultra chic to wear several strands in layers. Or layering a long pearl necklace with other metal necklaces is stylish as well.

Chanel black pearl strand with double CC logo, I believe the retail price is about $1000, right? For some reason, I have been seeing lots of black pearls. I guess this is the new pearl trend du jour.

Well, since jewelry making is a new hobby now, this is my latest creation. I think adding a ribbon or flower will jazz up the necklace.

One of the pearl necklaces is made with silver color thread using knotting technique and the other is made with wire loop. Now, I am thinking of making a white pearl necklace but longer than the black one. So savvy readers, what do you think of pearls now?
I love that blue necklace! It will go so well with a white shirt!
