So from a hair stylist, I learned years ago to rinse hair with cold water after conditioning would produce glossy super healthy looking hair. After shower, if I am up to it, I would run cold water over my hair only. This step will close up all hair cuticles which lead to gloss and shine. Then dry with hair dryer with downward wind draft and pulling straight hair. It's so much more pleasant to do this cold rinse in the summer time; winter, not so much. But then, beauty is pain sometimes, right!
Anyway, I wanted to change my hair style a bit. So last night before going to sleep, I curled my hair with an 1 inch iron and went to bed. In the morning, my hair will have a slight curl and with a bit of messy just got out of bed look. This works wonder with long hair too. That is how Savvy Sis manage to have super hair every morning. She would curl her hair before going to bed and in the morning she is ready to start her day with the kids.
