While out to lunch with a few friends, I just had to show off my newly made white and grey pearl necklace. It's about 48 inches long so I can wear it super long or double up into 2 shorter strands. For my casual luncheon, I actually doubled up the pearl necklace and wore it with a ribbon tied in the back so the look became 4 strands from the front. I love to play around with different looks.
Anyway, over lunch I wanted gal pals' opinions on custom jeans. Savvy Sis told me she just put in an order for custom jeans. Basically the manufacturer will take her measurements to make a pattern exclusively for her. From there, she can order jeans in the fabric, color and silhouette of choice. I think it's a cool idea because jeans never really fit me exactly. I can find a great pair of jeans but there is always something a little off about it but if I can get about 90% satisfaction, I am pretty happy. But now, if I can get 100% fit (provide I don't gain/lose weight) then the idea definitely has merit. However, the cost will be about $380. What do you think? I figure if I am already paying $200+ for jeans then why not give this a chance.
