In the picture above, I used a 25 inch silk scarf to create a shorter but more ruffle look. The shorter style is really cute with a tank or strapless top. I have tried many sizes of scarves, I think the smallest square scarf needs to be at least 24 inches to achieve any sort of ruffle and volume.

Scarf with Stylish Volume
