Seeing fringes and tassels remind me of bygone eras of flappers from the roaring 20's and the freedom loving spirits of the 60's. A piece with fringe or tassel detail immediately transports SG into I-AM-HIP-AND-COOL mode. For myself I am not sure about fringes and tassels on clothing but I am digging this for accessories.

2. Adrianna Papell $238 via Nordstrom
3. Christian Louboutin $1095 via Saks --- so much cuter in person
4. Juicy tassel bracelet $98 via Nordstrom
5. ABS tassel necklace $230 via Intermix
What about some jewel candies for the eyes?
6. Di Grisogono black/white diamond tassel earrings
7. Boucheron ruby tassel necklace ~ about $30,000 --- The necklace is really cute seeing it in the boutique but it's just way too expensive for this particular style. This is not an investment for me.
8. Chanel star fringe necklace
9. Cartier tassel 18K yellow gold earrings ~ about $9000 --- to die for on but the price is killing me...
Tod's fringe bag from 09 SS - available in python or calf leather (I scoffed at the picture until I had the bag in my hand. It's super cute but quite heavy --- see post here.)
So are you ready to fringe?
Oohh I'm all about the fringe. I especially adore that Tod's bag--although my experience with Tods hasn't been all that favorable in terms of wear and tear. Still loving it, though :-)
ReplyDeleteI like it, specially for my hair!
ReplyDeleteThose Louboutin heels are darling. And I want that Chanel star necklace so bad! LOL
ReplyDeleteI think that a little fringe can go a long way.
ReplyDeleteI love the trend! Would love a brown leather bag with long fringes in it!

The shoes are amazing! xoxo
ReplyDeleteFringe has been a trend that seems to endure. Really, it almost always seems to be in. Except, when it gets to the verge of being cowboy fringe.
ReplyDeleteLOVE tassels! And I really like all the pieces you have chosen.
ReplyDeleteI love fringes, they're so boho chic!!! I´m wearing fringes today :)
ReplyDeleteI love your choices...so fun!
ReplyDeleteI am trying to hold back not knowing if I am going to like fringes but I am give in soon.

Hi there-I'm loving the black belt in the first picture best!!
ReplyDeleteI am eagerly awaiting fringe with open arms. I love the JJ Winters Fringe Bag. But that Adrianna Papell dress? Reminds me of a Badgley Mischka that I've been coveting. This one, however, is much closer to my price range. Fabulous finds, love!
ReplyDeletei like it on the shoes and bags!
ReplyDeletei like it on bags but that's about it
