Fendi is definitely after my own heart this season with so many stylish bags. I am currently enamour with patent leather so it's natural I fall in adoration with this Fendi du Jour tote in patent. I particularly love the red patent. It's the perfect blue red I like so much. The tote is fairly lightweight and the double straps sit on the shoulder with comfort.
One thing I am not too crazy about this tote is the lack of privacy. It's just open; the only closure is the double band straps on the side with hooks to cinch the bag inward. So if I leave this tote on the floor, all my goodies will be out for everyone to take a peek. This is definitely not a travel tote because anyone can reach in and grab something if a gal is not 100% alert at all time. How am I to sleep or to shop in comfort then?
Although I there is a large zip pocket on the inside, I still prefer a zipper closure for security reason. This tote measures 16" x 11" x 6" and retails for $1460. There is a slightly smaller version for $1390. If anyone is into exotic, this water snakeskin tote retails for about $2700, which is fairly reasonable and quite unique.

Not a huge fan of the shape of the bag.
ReplyDeleteI need a zipper too...not so much for privacy sake (which is also good), but because my bag tips over in my car all the time and I would get really sick of having to clean up all my crap off the floor every time! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great bag....The bag that I am using today has an open look as well and I have to say that it makes me a bit uncomfortable when I am in a crowded place.
