Whenever I am lazy or running late, I will turn to one of my favorite go to outfits, cardigan set with jeans. Now that spring is here, I no longer need to go out with big coats to keep warm so cardigans have become my friend. I used to wear a lot of grey and black but I am trying to change that habit. However, I am not getting rid of my wardrobe just because I like bright colors now. What if I change my mind later? Instead of spending more money, I now use brightly color scarf or accessory to add a splash of color to the ordinary grey and black. I think having a splash of color instead of bright allover is quite stylish and chic as well.

I am trying to wear Hermes scarves in different ways. In this instance, I am wrapping a 36 inch square scarf around my neck twice and tie with a simple knot to create a preppy look. It's more polish than the look
here. This method looks wonderful with long & short sleeve polo shirts and dress shirts.
Lovely way of adding a bit of bold colors to a neutral set! I adore scarves too.

ReplyDeleteA scarf is the perfect accessory that looks great with a cardigan. I also love throwing on a pashmina with a plain outfit.
