I was delighted and a little disappointed when I actually put this watch on my wrist. For the longest time, I have been drooling over this diamond and sapphire Chanel Camellia flower watch with satin band, but in my mind, this watch is supposed to be more substantial. Perhaps over time, the image in my mind has become more than the actual product. I first fell in adoration with this watch when I saw it on the Chanel website and was it gorgeous. Looking at this watch, it is more of a jewel piece rather than a functional watch. The dial is rather small, which a gal needs to focus to tell time.

Although I like this watch, this watch does not possess the wow-I-must-have-it factor. Don't take me wrong, this Chanel watch is still quite a piece of fine work but for about $20,000, I can find other more investment worthy watch.
i agree with you. that's a wrist candy and it lost is purpose.

It's quite lovely, but I don't think I would spend that much on a watch as I lose things too often.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely, but really expensive... and I agree!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend: Janet
It's very pretty, but you can get a lot of great jewelry for $20K....
ReplyDeleteI do not wear watch but i do like diamonds and sapphires. But for its price, i agree that it should be more than just looks.
ReplyDeleteLovely, but too expensive.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, dear

The watch is very pretty, but I would buy it.
ReplyDeleteJust like you; it doesn't make me scream "I gotta have it!"
Agreed. I think it's gorgeous but for the price, you could probably get a more substantial watch-watch (rather than the more decoratey-watch) like Cartier or Patek...I do think it's really lovely though!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, but way too expensive. I would be scared to wear it!
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteStunning.. but more bling than practical eh?
ReplyDeleteIt's adorable but like you said, not very practical and especially not good for 20 thou.
ReplyDeleteTrisch xo
