Decorated Neckline

Recently SG noticed another savvy trend among all the stylish offerings in 2009. I particularly enjoy this decorated neckline trend because extra details such as sequins, jewel beading, and ruffles complete an outfit without the need for any other accessories around the neck. I will just throw on a couple of stylish bracelets or bangles or a pair of bold earrings with this look. Anything else around the neck will become "too much of a good thing".SG thinks Lucy Liu is very stylish in a fierce bold fashion. (image via wire image)
left John Galliano, right BCBG (via style.com)
left Moschino Cheap & Chic ruffle neckline dress --- Moschino is one of my favorite brands for its unique creative designs. I just don't know which part of this collection is "cheap".
right Milly flower applique dress (both via style.com)
left Ella Moss 3/4 sleeves jersey top $99
right Ella Moss tank with tri-color neckline detail $87
left BEBE orange silk tank with rosette adorn neckline $69 --- This piece is totally cute and savvy with white bottoms in the summer.
right BEBE black mini dress with sequin neckline $129
left Trina Turk pink gold bead detail neckline dress $298
right Calypso St Bart braided neckline dress sale $129 --- This dress is totally adorable on, trust me. The braided detail is a little strange at first but it's very unique and stylish for day or night.
left Marc Bouwer tank dress with beaded neckline $495
right 3.1 Phillip Lim orange floral dress with beaded neckline $775
left Milly orange floral print dress with embroidered neckline $395 (SG's Pick!)right Milly purple 3/4 sleeves top with beaded neckline $340 --- Milly offers very feminine no frill designs at a somewhat affordable price. Whenever there is a sale, I will try to scoop up a couple pieces.

  13. Love the decorated neck idea! Love the ruffle neck Moschino C&C dress. I always love their pieces but why name a line that when it is FAR from cheap especially in Canada?? Sigh.
